Investment in fractional real estate involves significant risk, including the potential loss of some or all of your invested capital. This platform is not suitable for all investors. Please read this Risk Disclosure carefully and ensure you fully understand the risks before investing.
BrickShare facilitates investment in fractional shares of real estate assets. While the Platform is regulated and implements rigorous due diligence on listed properties, investing in real estate — even fractionally — carries inherent risks that every investor must understand and accept.
Capital Risk
The value of your investment can go down as well as up. You may receive back less than you originally invested. Real estate valuations are not guaranteed and depend on market conditions.
Liquidity Risk
Property investments are inherently illiquid. While the Secondary Market provides a mechanism to sell Fractions, there is no guarantee that a buyer will be available at your desired price or time. You should only invest funds you can afford to hold long-term.
Rental Income Risk
Dividend distributions depend on rental income generated by the underlying property. Vacancy periods, tenant defaults, or property damage may reduce or eliminate income distributions. Past yield figures are not indicative of future performance.
Market & Economic Risk
Property values and rental income are influenced by interest rate changes, inflation, economic cycles, local market conditions, and regulatory changes. Adverse macroeconomic conditions may negatively impact returns.
Platform Risk
While BrickShare employs best-in-class security, no digital platform is entirely immune to technical failure or cyber threats. In the unlikely event of platform insolvency, investor Fractions are ring-fenced and held via a regulated custodian separate from BrickShare's operating assets.
Regulatory Risk
Changes in financial regulation, tax law, or real estate legislation may affect the structure, returns, or availability of investments on the Platform. BrickShare maintains regulatory compliance and will communicate material regulatory changes to investors.
Concentration Risk
Investing a large portion of your savings in a single property or asset class increases concentration risk. We recommend diversifying across multiple properties and asset classes to manage risk appropriately.
Currency Risk
Where investments are denominated in a currency different from your home currency, exchange rate fluctuations may affect the value of your investment and returns when converted back to your local currency.
